Before summer began, we asked the youth what skills they hoped to build. This data shows what matters to our youth and Vision to Succeed delivers. We use youth input to guide what we teach, how we mentor, and how we measure success. This is mentorship done with youth, not just for them.

Programs
Manhood Training Camp (Youth Employment & Workforce Development)
Our hands-on employment opportunities help young people develop responsibility, confidence, and real-world job skills through experiences such as:
- Landscaping
- Pond and property maintenance
- Tree care
- Gardening
- Selling products at the local farmers market (Sales)
- Customer Service (Communication Skills)
- Professionalism (Job/work etiquette)
These opportunities teach teamwork, customer service, entrepreneurship, and work ethic while allowing youth to earn income and gain valuable experience.
Workshops & Community Education
We offer engaging workshops for:
- Youth
- Parents
- Fathers
- Families
- Schools and community organizations
Workshop topics include leadership, emotional wellness, communication, life skills, financial literacy, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, career readiness, and family strengthening.
One-on-One Coaching
We provide individualized coaching for youth, young adults, parents, fathers, and families. Our coaching focuses on personal growth, goal setting, life skills, emotional wellness, healthy relationships, education, employment readiness, and long-term success.
Community Fundraising
We participate in the local farmers market each month to raise funds that directly support our mission. Every purchase and donation helps us continue serving youth and families in our community.
Roots of Brotherhood Retreat
Roots of Brotherhood is a men's and boys' retreat focused on mentorship, healing, leadership, and brotherhood. Originally launched through grant funding, this retreat brought together generations of men to connect through outdoor experiences, personal growth, and meaningful conversation. Our goal is to make Roots of Brotherhood an annual community tradition as funding allows.
